IDOL?
ok, I dont like American Idol much. But after repeated suggestions I looked in to check out Adam Lambert. Talk about ungodly vocal range. No one could come close. That is until you figure in twelve year old voters. Well, that takes care of that. Almost thought idol was to find the most talented, clearly its the way of all reality shows....No reality at all. Wonder who's career will last longer? Duhhhhhhhhhhh

Taco Bell
Is it just me or does the swine flu thing just reinforce the need to tighten our borders? Granted, it could get here anyway, but with all the illegal immigration goin on it has to have made it worse. I think in fact it's going to get much worse. Now, in Texas all kinds of activities involving our kids and academic and athletic competitions are being either postponed or cancelled all together. Seems a real shame as my boys can't compete at State for Technology cuz of this. Not to mention all the softball and track regionals. To me, this just reiterates the need for tighter security. Ther's a reason they are called "illegal". Cuz they are here ILLEGALLY! What part of that word does the feds not get? I guess if it involved "interns", or "hookers", or "pay raise" they would understand. Morons

The Other Shoe
Well gang, the other shoe has fallen at the old workplace. The fine line has been crossed by one of our own. Any guesses? Seems as though now is the time to do what must be done to maintain some semblance of order in this chaos. Just gonna do what our rules say we must. If they don't like it, file on it. Oh wait! they already have, wahahahahahahahahahahah

Top Ten
Ok, enough of the drmatic lets have some fun. This weeks top ten is the top 10 albums of all-time. No live albums in this one, just studio releases. Lay it on me my bruthas (and sistas).
Paradise
Seems like our goals as Americans are a little out of wack. Can't say I haven't thought the same things at times. Seems like we have all lost touch with reality and truly acting as if the almighty dollar is what its all about. It wasn't that long ago I had my priorities straight. Worked two jobs to make ends meet, struggled mightily to accomplish such. But yet, seemed so much happier about it all. Maybe it was cuz I was in control of all I was doing. Now seems like everyone else has control and its beginning to spiral out of control. Maybe faith is the key. Putting faith where it belongs instead of in what we have been putting faith in is where everything gets screwed up. Sure makes you put it all in perspective with the economy and our morals hittin the skids. Sure makes you begin to rethink things and consider putting things right. I think we could all use a little of this.

True Colors
Ok, time for a serious rant. You guys know who I refer to in this so lets not play games anymore. I am fed up with the losers I have to represent, I am fed up with all the rhetoric people spew cuz thats all they got. The sense of entitlement some of these people have is amazing. Don't get me wrong, I took this job knowing full well what I was getting into. What I didn't expect was just how deep the BS ran. People say one thing and go around telling people other things. Thought I left that back in school. I have never in my life experienced such a collection of crybabies and backstabbers like those I work with. Except for a select few, the rest can kiss my ass. I have a feeling that if I left it in their hands we would go belly up. Maybe it's about time we find out. No, I have NOT felt like this is just a phase, more it's like the end of putting up with BS that these so-called members deliver. Easy to sit back and whine but ask them for help and they look at you like you have three heads. Funny how these losers won't come to me and man up on the BS that they themselves create, just hide behind others skirts and cry. I may have to deal with people who don't agree with how I do things, but I will not sit by while people question my integrity, honesty, and too also call me a thief. Now lets see how they like the fit of the shoe being on the other foot. Now it's my turn.

Spoiled
Ya know, I was watchin the ball game and watched a guy get a base hit, and what does he do? Chest bashes himself and points to the sky. Ok, I'm not against the whole tribute thing to a (I'm assuming) departed loved one, but every time you do something? You see it in all sports now. It's all about me and look at what I did! Forgetting these morons are gettin millions for playing games, that WE pay for. Guys celebrate when they make a tackle, make a basket, whatever. Celebrating for doin your stinking job for which you are grossly overpaid. Priceless, these spoiled people. My opinion? How bout everytime you do your job you come over and grovel at my feet and thank me and all the others who make it possible for you to never hold a REAL job.

Bands That Make You Go, AAAAAAAAARGH!
Here is my poop list of the Worst:
1. Sex Pistols- Do I really need to say more?
2. Keith Richards (Stones)- Amazing how someone can be so talented when writing a song and yet so pathetic on guitar.
3. Britney Spears- This is how technology can make ANYONE sound like they can sing.
4. Kingdom Come- Complete Zeppelin ripoff and got what they deserved, their picture on a milk carton
5. Van Halen (Gary Cherone doin vocals)- Did Eddie really think we wouldn't notice he sounded like a light version of Hagar?
6. Europe- One of the reasons Hair Metal went belly up. Too pretty, too sappy, oh and no talent.
7. Quiet Riot- only big hits were someone elses songs and anyone not willing to share the Randy Rhoads music (before Ozzy) deserve NOTHING.
8. Beck- What the hell makes critics and fans think this creep is so cool?
9. Partridge Family- Even the Archies were more talented and they were a fictional band.

Makin Tea
Kudos to those who went to the 'Tea Party". Go look at the news and see how they portray anyone who disagrees with the "Obamanator". Now anyone who disagrees is either "wealthy" or a "right wing extremist". Are these people paying attention? Our elected officials are elected to do as WE say. Don't give me that BS that they know whats right for us. Bush started this freakin mess and Obama is taking it to new heights. I guess I'm an extremist then cuz I actually have the audacity to think that our government is to do what WE want. We the people, by the people, FOR the people. I know I have heard this somewhere, I just can't place it. Let's be realistic, those who read this know exactly what I'm gonna say. Go to work and complain bout "OBLAHMA" and see if ya don't get some excited as hell. Problem is they seem to think that by disagreeing with him, we are endorsing Bush and what he did. Therein lies the problem. They miss the point that it's all about the government and how this crap is spinning out of control. Not a damn thing to do with a political party. If I recall it took 2 parties to screw all this up. Now what are WE gonna do bout it. If either of my 2 friends who follow this think we need to raise hell some more. Give your other friends this link to the blog. Always gettin input from everyone we can only helps bring out what we are pissed about and maybe bring both sides out to figure a more civilized way of getting our opinions out there. Yea, we still gonna have fun here with all the top tens, but Meri and Rickey, as evidenced by all your input on things, it does bring out the fun in gettin our opinions out there. I too, will send outh the link, even if it pisses people off, at least they get involved. It's still about havin a blast, just different areas to have a blast with. Give me your input on this post and tell me what YOU think bout all the events yesterday.SEE YAS
Funny Money
I keep hearin how bad the states got it during this financial meltdown, courtesy of our overpaid, assgrabbin....errr elected officials. Now they could leesen the crunch by some maniacs being let out of prison early? You kiddin me? Maybe those flamethrowers in California might take that twenty miilion for the protection of filed mice and build a prison? This country is headed for the proverbial big outhouse and they can't seem to get priorities straight. I guess if one of their loved ones were violated by one of those early release "Rehabilitated members of society" this would change. I guess if it happens to us thats different. Oh yea, and we can't bitch bout it either cuz we couldn't possibly know as much as our leaders do. We just "wouldn't understand how things work". How bout building a halfway house next door to one of these elected morons and see if the money don't appear for more prisons. But sadly, we as Americans, in general, have become so apathetic to the antics of these mental midgets that we look the other way. Can't be bothered. Unfortunately, we only seem to care AFTER something tragic happens. Isn't that the real crime?

Cover Songs 2
Nice job! Man, a lot of cool songs listed by all, ok the BOTH of you. Stay tuned, will do more top tens real soon (maybe today or tomorrow). Start thinking, next up, top ten Guitarists-Bands. This list must only contain guitarists who have been in bands, either named after them or not. The strictly solo guitarists (e.g. Joe Satriani) will be included in different lists, til then!
Arrogance
Ahhh, I can always count on Madonna to piss me off. If we she wasn't so consumed with believing she is actually relevant anymore, she might just realize how pathetic she appears. I get so fed up with these people acting as if what they do actually matters. This adoption crap? If she really wanted to make a difference she might try to adopt someone from the United States, you know, her HOME country. I guess that doesn't make enuff news for her. I guess havin your life in fairy old England makes you above the rest of us social misfits. While the idea of adopting a child is noble, she oughta try looking close to home. These kids need a chance too. Or is it really all about the press coverage and trying to salvage whats left of a career to keep her name out there. Seems sad really.

HUH?
Ok, lemme get this straight. The people who own e-harmony, are now directed to cater and allow homosexuals to post as well? You know, what hapened to running a private company the way you see fit? Have we become so sensitive that everything must cater to everyone in order not to offend a particular group? I got a feelin that the gay and lesbian community have plenty of their own offerings in the matchmaking area. They always complain about being mistreated and singled out. Jeeeeeeez, wakeup. Has it ever occurred to anyone that this might be one of the reasons why? I don't force my beliefs on them and so why should I have their views forced upon me. Create your own damn matchmaking site catering to those you want to. Or is that to damn simple. They want tolerance, but yet they try to impose themselves and their beliefs and lifestyles upon those who may not want it. Then sit back and boo-hoo cuz everyone doesn't see things like they do. Tolerance is far from acceptance. You can't force acceptance upon those who do not view things the way you do. If I don't like how a company does things or the products or services they rpovide, then I look elsewhere, you should do the same and quit your whining.

Pick of the Week
OK, CD pickin time. For those into thrash, I mean the original type of thrash that had awesome guitars, then this band is for you. Try anything from Overkill. They have plenty of albums to choose from and its hard to go wrong. My picks? Under the Influence and Coverkill. The former a blistering lesson in how thrash is done, Anthrax are the kings but these guys are so under the radar you'll kick yourself for not checking them out sooner. And their covertunes on the latter, very nice. While I dont think much of Sabbath covers, legends duuuuuhhhhhhhh. They do a blistering version of "Never Say Die", and other songs from KISS and the like puttin their own spin to it. While doin a cover tune should keep most of the groove and feel of the original they do just enough to put their own stamp on it doing the songs justice, check'em out!
TARHEEEEEELS
Yea, guess my Dke crack means I must be a Carolina fan. Duuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuh. Like they weren't gonna win it. Yea, I'm waitin for the woulda coulda shoulda from all the other teams, but the fact is------Carolina bitch slapped all who got in the way. Guess the Big East was more like the BIG LEAST.

I'm Gonna Hurl
OK, someone pleez explain as to why any kid under the age of 21 on kid channels in a sitcom think that makes them a singer? Miley, Britney, Naked Bros., the list is endless. Man if technology wasn't so advanced they'd all sound like a frog in a blender. Make it stop! You gotta be kiddin me. This drivel makes pop music sound like Slayer. You know people, great music is still out there, you know, the kind where they actually play instruments! Write their own songs. Not the crap a 14 year old sings about how much love and pain has made them stronger. Huh? Yea, I'm a metalhead but ya know what? Been goin strong for forty years and Britney ain't killed them yet. Remember Avril Lavigne? You know, the one who was asked to do a tribute song for Metallica and didn't know which one to do cuz she never really heard of them? Give me a gun I'll shoot myself now. Hell, even bands like Nickelback, Fall Out Boy and the like sound the same over and over again. These bands and others seem like they have forgotten what music is for. FUN! I gotta enuff bad times listening to the news. My music doesn't need to drive it further in. Supposed to make you forget bout the bad crap and help you unwind and have a good time. Save the serious crap for CNN.

Numbers Game
OK, we keep spending trillions?, to fix a mess some millionaires and politicians created. Wow, I need to get in the ground floor of that opportunity. What we dont need now is a prez and his buddies tellin us they know how to fix it. It's ok to fail, a lot of businesses and people have done so and come out just fine on the other side. Helloooooo Chrysler in the 80's? Anyone remember that. Oh, and dont piss and moan to me it was Bush's fault, most all the politicos aren't very honest it seems anymore. Yea, theres a couple, but ya gotta look real hard. Someone suggested we give everyone over 18 and a CITIZEN with a voting card 1 million dollars and let that help boost the economy. If you know anything bout taxes, then this isn't just a dumb idea, and we don't sell our kids and grandkids out to pay for a few peoples mistakes.

Barney is a Frank
At what point do we actually get upset enough and dispose of Barney Frank and his band of Morons? Can't seem to find an honest politician who can act like he cares bout anyone but himself and what he can do to line his pockets some more.

Back Away From Your Wallet
Hey, just got to thinkin bout another CD you might want to know about. We have been waiting some 13 years for Guns to release the monumental "Chinese Democracy". Well, being that a friend, Rabbi Danny thought I oughta review this one I thought I would. It's monumental all right! Who knew crap could be stacked so high. What a useless waste of plastic this drivel is. Axl uses the G-n-R monikker to sell copies. But this resembles more of an "Air Supply" attempt at metal than a true Guns release. Do us a favor Axl and disappear for another decade or so and work on a new Barry Manilow type album. You'd have better luck at that then this attempt at bein a Guns and Roses proper album.

The BS of Life
You know, something might just cheer me up. Hey, lets try something new and take responsiblity for our actions. I'm so sick and tired of people blaming everything they do on someone else. I know, if I go on a rampage I could blame it on the spam sandwiches my mom used to make me take to school as a kid! Yesssss, I would only get probation for sure. Maybe blame it on my cousins-mothers-twin sister in law making me brush my teeth side to side rather than up and down. Yea, I could get away with anything then. God help this country, if they aren't playin the system they playin us. And we have the pathetic attitude of not saying a word for fear of pissing them off. Too damn bad. So they don't like me much, oh boo hoo hoo, I face that crap at work everyday and it just makes me feel sorry for them. OK I'm lying, I couldn't give a rats hiney what people think. The ACLU was created for those losers. Maybe they could help me retire early since my bosses feel I should actually have to WORK to get paid. Not just sit on my fat ass all the time.

Tournaments
Man, these conference b-ball tourneys are crazy! Can't anyone of the favorites win? Just as long as Duke craps out then all is right with the world. Oh, and long as the Yanks fall off a cliff too. Wouldn't want to seem so jaded. Yeah, like I care.
P.S. Just once I would like to see someone, anyone, take responsibility for their actions. Hell, even just to man up and say somethin to your face if they have an issue. Worlds full of cowards who talk, but call them on it and its everyone esles fault but their own. No wonder America is headed for the big porcelin swirley.

Cheek clenching
Watching news. How is it everytime I see a politician talkin I get the sudden urge to bend over and grab my ankles? Seems to happen everytime I hear the word stimulus. Not my idea of stimulus! You knwo, seems us Americans are really a pathetic bunch sometimes. We piss and moan yet we still re-elect these morons. Why do we keep doin this crap. Thought they were to do what we wanted. Sadists, we r for wantin these losers to speak for us.
Hang on long enough and these bozos will control all we do. Hope those who don't give a rats hiney are happy. You know who you are. You know, the ones who think spending 20 million to take care of field mice in the No-Cal. I got some cheese for ya.
